【摘要】:ThispracticewasdevelopedattherequestoftheGeneralServicesAdministrationoftheUnitedStatesgovernment.Itisintendedtoprovideguidanceandassistancetoanyonechargedwiththeresponsibilityofcreatingorreviewingmaterialsafetydatasheets(MSDS)foraccuracy.Suchsheetsarerequiredofanyvendorwhoprovidesgoodsorserviceswhichmaybehazardousinanyway.ThisguideisnotalegaldocumentanddoesnotpurporttoofficiallyrepresenttherequirementsoftheOccupationalSafetyandHealthAdministrationHazardCommunicationStandard,requirementsofEPA(EnvironmentalProtectionAgency''sEmergencyPlanningandCommunityRight-To-KnowAct),thelawsofanystateormunicipality,orthelawsofanyforeignnation.1.1Thispracticedescribeshowtopreparetheinformationonhazardousmaterialsasrequiredforemployeesafetyandhealthprograms.Thispracticealsoprovidesinformationonwhatdataarerequiredforthesafehandling,storage,use,transportation,andenvironmentallyacceptabledisposalofthesematerials.
