【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementoftheinherentstabilityofmiddledistillatepetroleumfuelsunderspecifiedoxidizingconditionsat95?C.Note1-Fuelsusedinestablishingtheprecisionmeasuresforthistestmethodweredescribedasgasoil,dieselfuel,No.2heatingoil,andDFM,aNavydistillatefuelsuitablefordiesels,boilers,andgasturbines.(ThetermDFMisnolongerusedwhenreferringtofuelmeetingMIL-F-16884requirements;ratheritiscalledF76asitconformstoNATOF76requirements.)Whilethetestmethodmaybeusedforfuelsoutsidetherangeofthesefuels,theprecisionmeasuresmaynotapply.Thistestmethodisnotapplicabletofuelscontainingresidualoilorsignificantamountsofcomponentsderivedfromnon-petroleumsources.ThevaluesgiveninacceptableSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
